Three-seater sofa bed mod. GS-195 by Gianni Songia for Sormani, 1963. This piece of furniture can be used as a very comfortable three-seater sofa with an adjustable backrest; however, the backrest can also slide back, transforming the sofa into a comfortable bed. The frame is in good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and retains the original box spring (the elasticity of the box spring has been reinforced and is now very comfortable). The elegant structure is made of rosewood. The original cushions have been reupholstered with a beautiful pale navy blue fine leather by Andrew Muirhead & Son (Scotland). Elegant and refined, this sofa bed displays the excellence of Mid-Century Italian design.
