Terracotta jar, 18th century
BRONZE Seller in Roma, Italia
Terracotta jar for storing oil, 18th century. Well-preserved, with a lack on the edge, where there is an impressed MC stamp, possibly referring to the kiln of production. Decorated by a continuous band with an X motif, it has raised handles and, at the base, a border in relief that ensured its stacking for transport. Good overall condition with some browning due to time and some missing on the edge as can be seen from the photos, which are to be considered part of the description. Mouth diameter: 29 cm. Maximum body circumference: 160 cm.
