Item description

Italian chest of drawers from the mid-20th century, Louis XV style. The cabinet was made of solid wood, walnut burl, brass details and a marble top with carved and inlaid decorations. The chest of drawers has 4 drawers of large capacity and service. Brass details are applied to the two front feet and side corners, handles and keyholes. High quality marble top, with only a small chip on the left corner (as can be seen in the photos). There are some marks, chips and imperfections on the surface, see photos. Some small moths present, especially on the left side, as in the photos. Furniture in fair condition overall with some signs of time and use. The furniture belonged to an old residence in Novara, a stone's throw from Milan. Material: wood - walnut - brass - marble. Depth 57 cm x Height 104 cm x Width 137 cm. Weight: 78 kg. Made in Italy 1950s.
