A pair of mid-century Italian stools, made in the 1950s, closely resemble designs by Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi from the same period. An advantage of the model is its design: it has a large circular seat and a rounded backrest, which make it an ideal place to relax. The chairs have a four-legged structure with brass front feet. The lining is a new delicate green boucle fabric. The seal of the Italian upholsterer Servadei Bruno is preserved on the piece of wood. The shape of the chairs is classic for mid-century Italian style; there are not many chairs like this that have survived to the present day.
