LC4 chaise longue by Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and Perriand for Alivar, 1980s-90s. Excellent condition. Made of hammered white Tuscan tanned leather. Maniacally kept as a collector's item; used very rarely. Well-stretched straps and rubber feet always clean and never worn thanks to scratch-resistant felts. Only very light and tiny marks on the two rollers of the black "H" base are noted; otherwise perfect. Designed in 1928 by three hands: Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand. The first prototype was made thanks to the tenacity of architect Perriand, who bore the costs.
