Item description
The Panton Chair, created by the visionary designer Verner Panton in 1960, was the first chair in the world molded in a single unit thanks to the revolutionary injection molding technique. Since 1967, Panton's goal was to create a plastic chair that was comfortable, versatile and stackable. Today, these chairs are a symbol of a bygone era and continue to embody the innovative and bold aesthetic of the 1960s. The set is in excellent condition, with a stunning patina that tells the story of the years that have passed. In purple colour, the chairs show small signs of aging which give them a unique character as shown in the photographs. A couple may be slightly lighter due to exposure to the sun, easily restorable, and only one shows a slight chipping in one foot, almost imperceptible overall which does not compromise its stability.
