Mid-century teak bookcase with folding door cabinet and portable mirror, designed in the style of Poul Cadovius. It can be a functional vanity, suitable for any bedroom, entrance hall or small living room. It is also useful as an entrance cabinet for storing hats, keys and small decorations. The cabinet has four drawers and a lockable door (key included). The shelves have two different depths, the bottom one and the top one for larger items. The configuration is up to you; all parts can be moved down, up and swapped. In addition, the wall cabinet is equipped with a useful portable mirror placed on the wooden board that can be wall-mounted or placed on top of the cabinet, as it has an additional support. The cabinet consists of: one 20 cm deep shelf; two 24 cm deep shelves; two 30 cm deep shelves; a cabinet with lockable flap doors and four drawers; H:30/W:75/D: 34 cm (key is included) H:30/W:75/D: 34 cm; drawer height: 6 cm; mirror H:35/W: 66 cm; two 170 cm long and two 60 cm long solid wood rails, combined in two sections with a total height of 230 cm and brass hardware. We recycled most of the parts of this cabinet, which came from the 1960s. The shelves were refinished and the brass hardware was polished. We made sure that the doors and drawers work smoothly and that all components fit together. The mirror was refinished. All the wood was treated with a few coats of Danish oil. We are trying to restore it to its best appearance, always considering that it is 60 years old. The set is in fantastic vintage condition with slight traces of use and polished brass fittings.
