Majestic chandelier designed by Gio Ponti for Venini. Eight-armed chandelier in transparent polychrome glass and brass skeleton, was created in the 70s based on a design by Gio Ponti from 1946. The chandelier has the engraved writing "Gio Ponti for Venini" on the blue bowl. Intact in all its parts, it has no defects and is functional. Gio Ponti was one of the most important post-war architects and designers, founder of the magazine Domus, who collaborated in his career with major brands such as Venini, Cassina, Fontanarte and many others. Venini is one of the most important Murano glass factories, founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappellini. Over the years he collaborates with great designers such as Fulvio Bianco, Carlo Scarpa and many others including Gio Ponti. Maximum height 120 cm. minimum height 85 cm.
