Item description
A simple, minimalist executive desk designed by Henning Jensen & Torben Valeur for Dyrlund in Denmark in the 1960s. The desk has a rosewood frame with beautiful inlaid joints that are repeated on the handles. The geometric base with exposed joints creates a unique floating impression. The legs are detachable for convenient transportation. The front side features six drawers, three on each side. The rear side, on the other hand, has an open shelf for storing additional items. The only decorative aspect of the desk lies in the joinery and the wood itself, so well used in Danish mid-century furniture. The desk can be a central piece for the home, office, living room or any other working environment. The desk has been checked by our team. It is in fantastic original condition. The wood has been refreshed with professional compounds. We leave small signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetics and only confirm the originality. We try to restore it to its best appearance, always considering that it is 60 years old. Customers from all over the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, please contact us for explanations and close-ups of the piece. Detailed dimensions: drawer height 8 cm, leg space H: 68 cm/ W: 66 cm/ D: 49 cm, rear shelf depth: 24 cm, leg H: 28 cm/W: 68 cm.
