Item description
Solid poplar folding kitchen table, 19th century. It is very simple and linear, featuring solid turned legs. It has a large drawer divided internally because it was used to hold cutlery separately. The top opens like the page of a book and doubles in size to accommodate more guests at the table. This type of table in the 19th century was used in Italian family kitchens: women prepared the dough for the dough on the open top and left it in the inner compartment while it was rising. The dimensions of the open top are 118 x 90 cm. Rustic table that shows some signs of wear at the level of finish especially on the top, both closed and open. Offered at an excellent negotiable price, we invite you to send us your purchase proposals that we will gladly evaluate. However, we advise you to take a good look in detail at all the attached photos.
