Item description
Large northern European sculpture made in the 19th century. Finely carved wooden work in pear wood depicting a putto, good quality. Beautifully sized object for antiquarians and collectors; ideal for hanging on the wall as a decorative element. It shows signs of old restoration, missing right arm and left hand (see photos). Angel of great pleasantness and good taste, in beautiful patina, with small non-active woodworm holes (see photos). In fair condition.
