For sale is an attractive and well-preserved pair of Space Age dining chairs. Probably made in Italy around the mid-1970s, they perfectly represent the style of the era, with a subtle but distinctive mirror-polished steel frame. The seats and backs are upholstered in thick black leather. The authors of the chairs are unknown, both the designer and the manufacturer, but you will agree with us that the absence of an attribution in no way makes them any less special: the lines are timeless and fit in perfectly with almost any contemporary interior, lending a minimalist, modernist touch to brightly coloured rooms or blending seamlessly into simpler settings. The two chairs are preserved in excellent condition, with only slight, predictable signs of use and patina from the years. They are ready to use and do not need any restoration to be appreciated. They are ideal around a small round dining table, as in the last picture.
