Oil painting on canvas representing a glimpse of daily life in the neighbourhoods of Naples. Plays of shadows, light, architectural elements, arches, windows, balconies, small votive aedicules, stairways and, to embellish the story, wayfarers, old people, stalls, tents and small glimpses of blue sky, all described with great attention to detail with accents of bright colours, such as the little girl, standing observing in the centre of the composition wearing a light blue dress. Signed lower right 'M. Amoroso' and contained in a gilded, carved wooden frame. Excellent condition. Measurements: 60x70 cm. Provenance 20th century Italy. Certificate of Authenticity.
