Pair of elegant sculptural groups in fine white Capodimonte porcelain depicting three tender cupids intent on play, mid-20th century. Gilding marks and gold border on the base. Under the base, in addition to the blue crowned N of Capodimonte, present numbering. One group, with bunches of grapes, represents Autumn; it has numbering 8832, 34.
The other group, with garlands of roses, represents Spring; it has numbering 8830. One putto in the latter is missing an index finger and a big toe. Weight: about 560 grams each. The group dedicated to Autumn is 16 cm high, 13 cm wide and 13 cm deep; the one dedicated to Spring is 16 cm high, 15 cm wide and 15 cm deep.
