This premium round rosewood veneer dining table was designed in 1956 by Grete Jalk, one of the most famous Danish designers of the mid-century. This PJ 2-5 model was produced by P. Jeppesen in the 1960s, as validated by the still preserved manufacturer's label. The table is equipped with an additional 55 cm long extension leaf, perfectly matched to the wood grain of the top. The beautiful finish made with solid rosewood carved moldings on the edge gives the table a unique look, making it a decoration in itself. The table can be extended up to a maximum of 174 cm, offering comfortable seating for 6-10 diners. The superior quality is confirmed by the Danish Control brand, which constitutes a distinction for furniture manufacturers. It shows an eye-catching rosewood veneer grain. The thin, tapered legs made of solid rosewood underline the Danish origin adding elegance and elegance to the whole. Height at the apron: 63 cm. The table has been carefully checked: the sliding mechanism works smoothly. The surface was cleaned and preserved with professional products. Small signs of use are left which do not ruin the aesthetics of the furniture and only confirm its originality. Excellent condition with slight traces of use.
