Napoleon III "a vela" side table with painted top, made in France in the second half of the 19th century. This piece of furniture, which is increasingly difficult to find, has an oil-painted mountain representation with mother-of-pearl inserts. The central foot is turned, in ebonized and gilded wood. Intact and refined, it falls into that sector of items sought after by collectors.
