Item description

Italian bed from the mid-20th century. Finely carved, lacquered and gilded Louis XVI style furniture of excellent quality. Double bed that can accommodate an internal frame (not included in the offer) with the following maximum dimensions: W 169 x D 201 cm. A bed of great character, finished on three sides and adorned with front pillars and a gilded wreath (see photo). Furniture consisting of four separable elements (headboard, footboard, 2 side rails) to facilitate moving and fitting into the home, to be secured with special solid metal tie rods (see photo). Bed of excellent solidity supported by 6 flared feet, also lacquered and gilded. Structurally sound and in beautiful patina, overall in good condition.
