Item description
Italian sculpture dated 4 June 1925. Finely chiselled and patinated bronze work depicting a female figure entitled Red Braid. Lady posed seated on a sofa, sculpture with the typical and pleasant taste of the 1920s. Work signed and dated on the base (see photo) attributable to the famous sculptor Pier Enrico Astorri (1882-1926), lacking authentication, for antique dealers and collectors of early 20th century Italian bronzes. Finished centrepiece bronze of excellent quality, ideal for inclusion in a salon or living room. Of beautiful size and proportion it is in patina and in good state of preservation.
