Steel and glass coffee table by François Monnet for Kappa, 1970s
SILVER Seller in Milano, Italy
A Space Age style coffee table made of two bent and curved stainless steel plates, criss-crossed together to form a solid and indestructible structure, made to last. For the table top, a thick sheet of clear glass was placed between the claws of the ionic steel lozenges. Innovative for its time, it excellently represents the years of space conquests. Attributed to François Monnet, it was designed and manufactured in the 1970s in France by the Kappa company.
