Item description
Large and spectacular Murano glass chandelier, made in Italy in the early 1960s. While the frame and glass tubes are not signed, it is clearly made in the style of Toni Zuccheri and Venini, two of the main actors of the glass design scene of the period. The surface treatment on the tubular glass, as well as the light and gray color mixed of such tubes are an obvious sign. In good condition given its age, and although some of the glass tubes show signs of minor age, such as small dents or small cracks, these defects do not in any way affect the presence of the assembled part, and they are easy to disguise with a wise location of the tubes. The chandelier consists of sixty individually hanging tubes, and is in perfect working condition. It may have been rewritten at some point.
