Carlo Nason, born into one of the oldest families of glassmakers in Venice, learnt the trade early on, showing a strong aptitude. He trained in the family glassworks V. Nason & C. and in the course of his career collaborated with numerous glassworks such as A.V. Mazzega, Vistosi, Leucos and many others. The vase is signed on the bottom and still has the original label. It is in an excellent state of preservation and has no defects.
