Item description

French sculpture from the mid-20th century. Plaster work depicting a sailor in Art Deco style, copy of Meurice's famous ceramic "Ideal Man scanning the horizon at the helm of a ship". No signatures or stamps. Painted and bronze tint patinated plaster object, for antique dealers and interior decorators. It presents some minor scratches and signs of wear; sculpture structurally solid. Center-room finished work. Overall in good state of preservation.
