Nessino table lamp by Giancarlo Mattioli for Artemide, 1990s
SILVER Seller in Treviso, Italy
This fantastic table lamp was designed by Giancarlo Mattioli, a member of the Città Nuova Urbanist Architects Group, for Artemide. The Nessino lamp is an iconic lamp in the Italian design scene of the 1960s, when spaces in the home began to be redesigned and embellished by the first applications of plastic as a new material. This lamp is a transparent limited edition from the 1990s, very rare though, because its transparency adds a note of fairy lightness to any space. This particular one came from a forgotten corner of a shop, is brand new and was only opened to test its electrical system.
