Antique Italian stoup basin from the second half of the 19th century. Work in veined red marble of seventeenth-century taste consisting of circular basin with molded rim and turned baluster in several tiers (see photos). Very large and striking basin in beautiful patina, ideal to put in a salon or grand entrance hall. Marble showing signs of wear and time that give even more charm to the basin. Work for antique dealers and interior designers, of fabulous decor. Structurally solid and in good state of preservation.
