Facetted glass and brass chandelier in the style of G. Ulrich, 1940s
SILVER Seller in Varese, Italy
Large lantern pendant lamp produced in Italy in the 1940s and 1950s. Its design is reminiscent of similar products made by well-known designers such as Paolo Buffa, Guglielmo Ulrich and Pietro Chiesa. Brass frame with four facetted glass lampshades. Four elegant cornucopia-shaped lamp holders. Good condition: normal oxidation patina on the brass; the glass shades have some defects near the corners (2-3 small cracks as shown in the photo). Given the slight extent of these defects, the chandelier has been kept with the original glass panes, but these can be replaced on request.
