Item description

French writing desk, late 19th century. Moved and domed Napoleon III furniture, carved and veneered in mahogany. Center room finished desk enriched with gilt and chiseled bronze, of excellent quality. Furniture complete with three front drawers of good capacity, wooden top covered with leather with several signs of wear that give even more charm to the furniture (see photos). Very elegant desk, ideal to put in a living room or study, also useful for professional use. Complete with one working key; center drawer lock is missing spring (in need to be overhauled). Locks on side drawers fully functioning. Furniture overall in good state of preservation.
