Oriental sculpture from the mid-20th century. Nicely carved and worked exotic wood object depicting a figure with animal on a chain, good quality. Sculpture carved from a single wooden block, good size, modified during the 20th century to make a lamp out of it (see photo); lacking electrics. All-round finished work for antique dealers and interior decorators, adorned with numerous details. It shows some signs of time and minor chipping (see photo). Structurally solid, overall in good state of preservation.
