Item description

Space Age floor lamp by Tibor Hazi made in Hungary in the 1970s (designed in 1973). Opaque orange glass diffuser and chromed metal structure. The rounded shape of the lamp is related to the Space Age, a period when futuristic shapes entered the applied arts. When lit, it creates a pleasant diffused light. It is fully functioning and in good original condition; the chrome plating shows signs of time and use with some surface defects but nothing significant.
