Item description

Umbertina writing desk of pleasant size made of walnut, solid for the legs and frames, veneered the rest. It has turned legs, two drawers on each side and a larger central one, pull-out top covered in cloth, splashback with two small drawers on each side and central open compartment. Interior lined with blue carnation paper. Locks present, central working with key. Brass spouts. Late 19th century period. It is in good, immediately placeable condition, see photo.
