Item description

Set of four chairs by Radomír Hofman for TON Bystřice pod Hostýnem (successor to Thonet in Czechoslovakia after World War II), 1960s. Interesting model in bent plywood and beech with fabric-covered seat. Example of Czechoslovakian design after the great success of its pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. Chairs are overall in very good vintage condition: wood shows signs of time and use, seats have new fabric. Seat height: 46 cm.
