Item description

Made in oil on canvas, the painting depicts a young shepherd resting on the grass on a summer afternoon. The young shepherd is surrounded by playful butterflies. Made with great technique, this painting gives serenity and sweetness to the observer. The painting has a signature at the bottom left which unfortunately is illegible. From the canvas and the pictorial technique it can be dated to the early 1900s. It is in an excellent state of conservation.
