Light mahogany sideboard, second half of the 19th century
SILVER Seller in Padova, Italia
Sideboard in light mahogany wood made in France in the second half of the 19th century. The three doors at the bottom have a lock and key and give access to two large rooms divided by a shelf. In the part with two doors the shelf is in the centre, while it is positioned a little higher in the part with a single door, so as to obtain a higher compartment probably for storing bottles. Turned feet and solid mahogany panels with grain to design the front of the sideboard. The three drawers at the top still have the original knob. Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish.
