6 Lyra beech stools by Design Group Italia for Magis

Elegant bar stools with beech wood seat and chrome-plated steel frame, designed by Design Group Italia for Magis, 1994. Lyra S32-88 model stool. This is the 88 cm version, with 79 cm seat, of the two models produced by Magis, taller. In excellent condition. Minimal signs of use. In extraordinarily Very good, dare we say excellent condition, even the chrome looks good. One stool has small nicks on the seat, visible in the photos. For the sixth the set is OK. Created for Magis by Design Group Italia, one of the most important Italian companies on the industrial design scene, Lyra is a family of stools of varying heights, with a chrome-plated tapered steel tube frame, with harmoniously curved lines, and a seat in curved multilayer beech, simple and welcoming. The series was presented under the model name Lyra S32 at the Milan Trade Fair in 1990. To commemorate the memory and works of the great Greek sculptor Lycius, creator of the statue 'Apollo Kitharoidos' ('with the zither'). Present as furniture in the school of Aristotle in Athens. This is the tall version produced by Magis. In excellent condition. Minimal signs of use. Scratches on the seat and plywood edge. Slight signs of paint use, which do not detract from the aesthetic beauty and pure design. Otherwise in excellent condition.
