Desk by A. Cassi Ramelli for Enrico & Paolo Borghi, 1940s
SILVER Seller in Bergamo, Italia
"Dattilo" desk, 1940s. It has no trademarks but from literary sources and catalogs the design can be attributed to Antonio Cassi Ramelli with production by Enrico & Paolo Borghi. Designed for center-room use. Solid wooden construction with mahogany veneer. On the left side we find six practical drawers, which slide well. Two other drawers are "hidden" at the edge of the top (see photos). Black glass top, this one with obvious marks. Height from the ground to under the top: 61 cm. Space for chair: 61 cm. Good condition, only the top has quite evident signs of use, such as lines and worn corners.
