Spherical sculpture paperweight in purple Murano glass, 1970s. Equipped with a flat bottom to make it stand still. Made in a deep and vibrant shade of purple glass, it features bubbles that give it depth and volume. It's a truly fascinating object that generates a beautiful play of reflections and shadows when hit by direct light and adds a nice decorative touch to wherever it is placed (there is no need to use it only as a paperweight). It is well preserved, shows no damage and the only traces of age are some small dents and a uniform patina.
