Noce lamp by A. Castiglioni for Flos, 1970s
SILVER Seller in Milano, Italy
Noce lamp by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, 1970s (designed in 1972). This is the same designer of the Arco, Toio and Snoopy lamps and the Brionvega RR126. It is a beautiful example of modernist Italian design, rarely seen and certainly rarer than other lights designed by the Castiglioni brothers. The example in question is the black version, with main body in aluminium, rubber edge and dome in ribbed glass. The two internal lights can be directed via a lever hidden at one end of the lamp. It can be used on the floor, on a table or even mounted on a wall. It is well preserved and sold in original condition.
