French Napoleon III commode in green lacquered wood with inserts of polychrome paintings, late 19th century. The front has two drawers bearing a central medallion with a romantic scene and are removable via gilt and chiseled bronze rocailles handles. The sides have a convex shape with a pronounced indentation and bear a design depicting a basket with flowers. The two feet have a curvilinear course and are connected by a mixtilinear crosspiece with a bronze medallion in the center. The two cantons are enriched by the presence of bronze elements and end with socks also made of the same material. The top is made of French red marble. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
