A magnificent example of this rare German classic with its domed shade and integrated Bakelite switch, patented rotating ball joints and iron clamp base. Kaiser Idell is a series designed for Kaiser Leuchten by designer Christian Dell. His eponymous lamp series became popular after the 1936 catalogue and became synonymous with German industrial design. Model 6726 has an impressive wave-shaped arm. It can be moved in three places and is adjustable from approximately 58 cm to 100 cm in height. The lamp has a unique patina due to its age, reminiscent of the original factory finish, and the characteristic dome at the top of the shade bears the Kaiser Idell logo. Thanks to its precise positioning and exceptionally long reach, this particular model '6726' has always been appreciated by architects and designers. Kaiser Idell is widely recognised as a symbol of noble Bauhaus design, exquisite choice of materials and engineering precision. The size of 131 cm is a flat measurement with the lamp fully extended.
