Teak chest of drawers by Poul Cadovius for Cado (Denmark), 1960s. The simple and angular silhouette, with almost no ornaments or embellishments, makes it a perfect addition to any type of interior. Despite its minimalist appearance, the chest of drawers is characterized by meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, visible above all in the joinery joints. The warm tone of the teak veneer will add a welcoming touch to even the roughest interiors. Four drawers with well-integrated, almost invisible handles carved from solid teak provide ample storage space. The elegant frame profile surrounding the drawers is a characteristic of Cadovius designs. The chest of drawers rests on a wooden structure, which not only provides stability but also adds visual lightness to the overall design; the structure is detachable. The chest of drawers has been checked: it is in excellent original vintage condition with some minimal traces of use related to age; the drawers work smoothly. The wood has been preserved with Danish oil. Internal height of the drawers (starting from the top): 7 cm - 7 cm - 11 cm - 14 cm. Height from the ground: 17 cm.
