Set of six dining chairs and table by Osvaldo Borsani for Atelier Borsani Varedo, 1950s. Elegant dining set consisting of six chairs in solid mahogany and red faux leather and table in solid poplar wood veneered in rosewood with a beautiful shape with black opaline glass top set in a wood-framed base. Beautiful brass details on both chairs and table. Part of a living room set consisting of extra-large sideboard with large mirror and beautiful sideboard/chest of drawers with bar cabinet (items visible on seller's page; contact him for more information). Meticulously restored set as follows: as for the chairs, the solid mahogany structure has been restored and refinished; the original faux leather seat is in excellent condition, with no damage or cuts; the brass elements have been polished. As for the table, the wooden structure has been fully restored, the wood treated against woodworm; it has been refinished respecting the original condition; the glass top is intact without damage, with only a few signs of time and micro scratches on glass top. The chairs are 93 cm high, 44 cm wide and 39 cm deep; the seat is 50 cm high. The table is 78 cm high, 200 cm wide and 100 cm deep.
