Item description

French Bonheur du Jour Napoleon III made of exotic wood with gilded bronze elements expertly chiselled into it. The main elevation is characterised on the lower part by a writing desk with cabriolet feet surmounted by a drawer highlighted by a spout and two handles with a rocailles motif. The upper part is characterised by two doors highlighted by a dense geometric motif inlay resting on two drawers. The end part is enriched by a beautiful openwork railing also in gilded bronze. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: 73x50 cm, H 128 cm. Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Certificate of Authenticity.
