Japanese lacquered wood jewelry cabinet/large jewelry box, late 19th century - early 20th century. Equipped with a drawer and two doors; these hide six decorated drawers. Surprising for the variety of techniques used. Incredible finesse of the decoration, notice the depth that the artist managed to render at the eye level of the cranes. Finely chiseled copper hardware. Missing key.
