Armchair mod. Artona 8551 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto, 1980s. It is entirely made of very soft biscuit-colored leather and is in excellent condition, characterized by complex stitching that is reminiscent of the seats of vintage luxury cars. Extremely rare version, and currently the only one on the market, without wheels and without armrests, with the characteristic hollow cut on the back, typical of the Scarpa couple; rarest collector's piece of the Africa model. Tiny signs of time on the leather, as shown in the photos, give it authenticity and a beautiful patina.
