Item description
Four-door wardrobe in solid stained spruce wood, second half of the 19th century. Its main peculiarity is given by a secret drawer located to the left of the base, which opens by inserting a nail or a thin cylinder into the small hole in the base inside the wardrobe on the left side. By pressing, the drawer opens, you place what you want to hide and then it closes, hiding everything (see last photo). The wardrobe has four doors (approximately 51 cm each). The old locks are no longer working; there are two keys to easily open the doors since there are no handles. The inside is covered with fine 20th century paper. There are five shelves that can be organized on the provided supports. Clothes rail in the left compartment. The two doors on the right each have a mirror on their internal side. Base length: 255 cm. Maximum length at the "hat": 279 cm. Depth: 51.5 cm. Maximum depth at the "hat": 63 cm. The secret drawer internally measures 20 x 33 cm and is 8.5 cm high. Good condition with signs of wear (see photos): some superficial scratches, small discolored parts, veneer missing in small places; the locks are not working; the rightmost door needs to be balanced a bit, it doesn't close well.
