Green goatskin and brass cocktail shaker by Aldo Tura, 1950s. Aldo Tura (1909-1963) experienced his greatest success in the 1950s, keeping the craftsmanship alive in his production and focusing on furnishings and objects characterized by the richness and exoticism of materials, such as rosewood, leather or parchment, usually combined with sculptural forms. Inspired by Art Deco and modernism, Tura's objects are always the result of a meticulous process that could not be replicated industrially at the time, which is why the designer's number of pieces remains limited and highly sought after in the market.
