Item description
Art Deco oak and brass wine cooler handmade in France by Géraud Lafitte for Abel Lepitre in the 1940s. It is in original condition with normal signs of use and age. It has the inscription on one side "Géraud Lafitte Meilleur ouvrier de france 1933". It has the characteristics of the Art Deco style popular at the time, characterized by geometric shapes, bold lines and luxurious materials. It has a smooth, curved design made of oak and enhanced by brass elements. The use of quality materials is in keeping with the craftsmanship typical of the Art Deco period. On one side is a large brass label of Abel Lepitre champagne from Reims. It is a fantastic and useful bar item.
