Danish round extendable rosewood veneered table, 1960s

Danish round extendable table in rosewood veneer, 1960s. The unprecedented vibrancy and rich grain of the rosewood veneer with its contrasting tones, give it an eye-catching and diverse appearance, highlighting the beauty of the wood. The grain of the rosewood appears almost hypnotic with its continuous pattern. The table is equipped with two additional extension leaves, perfectly matched to the top. The beautifully finished solid rosewood edge gives the table a unique look, making it a decorative piece in itself. The extension system was manufactured by CJ Rosengaard, the Danish pioneer of aluminum slides and furniture extension slides. With the addition of detachable, precision-carved solid rosewood legs, the table showcases the high quality and craftsmanship of Danish craftsmen, as well as the Scandinavian passion for functionality. Height at the apron: 64 cm. Width of the single extension leaf: 49 cm. The table has been checked and is in excellent original condition. The sliding mechanism works perfectly and the surface has been cleaned and preserved with professional products.
