In his 50 years of activity, Giuseppe Rossicone has involved numerous artists of great value, known nationally and internationally, in the adventure of ceramics. Over time, this collaboration has led to the production of decorative objects of great aesthetic impact and considerable appeal. In our century, it was in fact Picasso, with his inexhaustible vitality of experimentation, who brought artists' interest back to the expressive resources of ceramics. And so, following the example of the great Catalan, many contemporary artists have dedicated themselves to this ancient discipline with the mediation of a few skilled experts in the processes of firing and colour transformation. These are the artists brought together in this production: personalities diverse in generation and tendency who find in their encounter with the material the concrete meaning of expression. For some of them, already celebrated in the fields of painting and sculpture, it means rediscovering in contact with the earth the ancestral taste of figuration. The success of this singular collaboration is presented here. Giuseppe Rossicone lives and works in Milan. He has won numerous national and international competitions with sculptures and ceramics created by him. He has successfully exhibited in several solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
