Tok armchair with footstool by Toshiyuki Kita for Stokke, 1990s

Recliner lounge chair with footrest, Tok model, by Toshiyuki Kita for Stokke, Norway 1990s. The armchair was designed based on the principle of balance. The swivel and reclining chair encourages dynamic and active sitting with maximum comfort. Every movement of the body will be followed and, therefore, encourages movement and variety in sitting. This ergonomic chair is ideal for those with back problems. In fact, it is not the seat that moves against the backrest, but the entire tilting system as a whole that does so. Its organic shape will allow many different resting positions on the chair. The position can be easily changed, even using the footrest. The headrest can be adjusted horizontally, offering different positions for reading, watching TV or sleeping. The frame is made of dark laminated beech wood, the upholstery in beige and orange fabric. Armchair measurements: H 105 x W 70 x D 70 cm. Footrest measurements: H 44 x W 40 x D 60 cm. Total weight: 40 kg. Very good condition, some slight signs of wear in the fabric. Shipping is not free, please ask for a quote before purchasing.
