Item description

Pair of Murano glass table lamps produced by ‘La Murrina’, Italy 1960s. This model, also known as ‘Fazzoletto’, resembles a large hanging handkerchief. The lampshade is hand-moulded and covers the base in a loose and playful manner. In addition, the glass is decorated with the typical ‘murrine’ technique for which Venetian glass is so famous. The lamp is marked with the company's trademark and engraved ‘la murrina’ with a diamond point on the glass. Truly excellent condition despite its age.
